Membership
Membership of The Society is capped at 150 senior members.
At present we have a membership which includes 141 seniors.
We therefore have 9 senior vacancies. There has been a lot of recent interest in membership and we expect to be full soon. A waiting list will then come into operation. Please send your membership application forms to us as soon as possible.

Registered disabled applicants are entitled to a 50% discount on the annual subscription rates. (No reduction is available on entrance fees).
New members will be issued with a membership tag free of charge on acceptance. Replacement tags are available at a cost of £2.50 by application to the Treasurer.
In times that a waiting list is in operation a non-returnable charge of £5.00 will be levied. This will be deducted from the above charges on entry to The Society.
Applicants MUST be prepared to attend a committee meeting of The Society called to admit them. Any applicant not having a valid reason for non-attendance will not be admitted and will be removed from the waiting list.
All applicants must have a proposer and seconder who must be current members of The Society with a minimum of 3 years membership.
If you do not know any current members we may accept your application if you provide us with a reference, preferably from the secretary of another fishing club or your employer. You will be required to attend a commitee meeting.
Junior members MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times when fishing on society waters.
