After a committee meeting the following general rule was passed. Any member fishing at Syke (Buckley wood) will need to have a landing net of a minimum of 30inc in size, a unhooking matt and scale treatment for the carp. Any member found not to have the correct equipment will be asked to leave the venue and will be reported to the committee for further action.

Several incidents have been reported that carp of over 14lbs have been landed in a match size net causing damage to the fish.
