Rochdale Walton Angling Society was established

RWAS take ownership of Healey dell

Buckley Wood Reservoir
In the 1980's the club lost our main lodge. The waterboard emptied the reservoir due to a damaged valve. It was never repaired and the other 2 waters were sold to Rochdale MBC. We now have a 20 year lease to fish the 2 remaining waters. -

Disabled Grant for Healey dell
The club managed to obtain a grant for Healey dell to replace 5 pegs to make them wheelchair friendly -
