About Us

About Rochdale Walton Angling Society

Rochdale Walton AS is one of the oldest clubs in the area established in 1858. We are a medium sized club with 300  members. We recently joined up with the Rochdale Veterans clubs who offer fishing to ex-veterans living within the borough of Rochdale. Since joining we have obtained grants to update our waters to make them wheelchair friendly. Within our club we have 60 junior members who we host junior matches and coaching sessions. We have 2 level 2 coaches with RWAS who work with the various members to offer advice and tips.
Our waters are set in amazing locations with a mass of wildlife, deer, kingfishers are amongst what in seen on a daily basis.
We are a member of the angling trust and several of our members are bailiffs for the trust.
