Information for Junior Fishing RWAS

National Champion team 2022

This year we took 4 teams to the national Championships. From when i joined the club and only have 2 juniors to where we are now with over 52 juniors has made me proud. This has been achieved by a lot of hard work from our coaches and members. The future of our sport is in their hands as they say. Our aim over the next few years is to continue to support them and offer training and advice. The training evenings we have offered have now stopped but over the Autumn and winter months we will offer friendly matches and training on a sunday morning. This will help with simple things like feeding patterns, hook and rig construction. We intend to get guest speakers in to help strengthen their knowledge. We would like to make links with other Clubs in the area and host inter club matches. If you can offer anything to help develop these juniors please let us know.

Junior Champs 2023

As we come to the end of this seasons junior championship i can say it was a joy to see so many happy young anglers. I can say this season we witnessed some great bags of fish caught by the juniors and it was a please to host.

We can see how some of the juniors are now competing rather well in the senior matches which shows how they have progressed this year.
