Rochdale Walton Angling Society
Founded in 1858 Rochdale Walton Angling Society in one of the oldest clubs in the area. We have 3 well stocked waters at Healey dell and two at Buckley wood in Syke both waters have Carp, Roach, Tench and many other species of course fish. Both waters are set in beautiful locations and recently started a project to open a new water within our land in Healey dell. We have recently taken on several miles of the Rochdale Canal which is a great place for both able and disabled anglers to fish. Our Society has grown over the past 12 months with now well over 295 members and we have formed an amazing link with the Ex-service personal from the Rochdale area. We have purchased a welfare unit, toilets and had pegs designed for disabled / Wheel chair anglers. We are a friendly club and always offer help and support to all members.
