For those members not aware that we have started a new project as part of a grant obtained from the Angling trust. Work began last week to enable us to turn the back water which is located behind the main water at Healey dell in to a fishable venue. The work includes removing damaged and dead trees from the water, and then the task of removing years upon years of silt from the water. Little leaf family arborist was given a contract to deal with the trees and some of the ground work. The project will take a while to complete but it is looking amazing already. Thanks to all the members who have given time to help. We will keep you updated on the process.
